They say it takes a village to raise a child, and there may be no place that this is more true than on the farm. This Father’s Day, I’d like to take a minute to thank the farm dads, grandpas, and heck, the uncles and other non-dad father figures who help keep farm kids out of mischief. Correction: Keep them in guided mischief.

There’s an old saying, “You can’t go home again,” which is rooted in the fact that, if you try to return to a place you remember from the past, it likely won't be the same as you remember it. The saying echoed in my head as I stood in the old stone barn on my family farm back in 2015.
